Join writer and campaigner George Monbiot, Angela Jones, campaigner and author of Wild Swimming The River Wye, and Tessa Wardley of The Rivers Trust and author of The Mindful Art of Wild Swimming.
This should be a real meeting of minds - a confluence of the rivers if you like - as these three activists mingle and share some of the thoughts they explore in their collective works.
Champion of the Wye, Angela Jones has been swimming in the River Wye for many years and has been at the forefront of campaigning for cleaning up the river. She leads swimmers and has witnessed first hand the changes of the river from the reed-bed up as she has seen the destruction and pollution first-hand. Her book Wild Swimming The River Wye is a not-for-profit guide book that has raised money towards the campaign group, Save The Wye.
Environmental professional and zen-seeker Tessa Wardley is the author of three titles; the Art of Wild Swimming which is a more meditative and physiological guide than a literal guide. She has also written The Eco Hero Handbook and The Ocean Hero Handbook.
